What We Do

Our mission at KG Entertainment is to make original story and musical theatre content available and affordable for our fellow theatre producers, production entities, and developers of arts education – including producers of educational theatre – nationwide. We affordably develop, license, consult, and support. Our goal is to offer original material in all genres that is artistically fresh and operationally achievable.

In addition, we offer transparent licensing of all titles. We offer options to producers; we believe that access to new work should not be limited by prohibitive costs, or overly complex agreements.

Our licensing model is designed to be straightforward and theatre-friendly, allowing companies to focus on what matters most: quality productions that achieve a profit. Whether a theatre is producing a fully staged professional run, a community production, or an educational theatre event, our licensing process is structured to support success at every level.

We also understand that producing new work comes with unique challenges. We offer marketing tools and materials easily customized to support ticket sales. We’ve crafted content that can be modified and adapted to attract, engage, and celebrate available talent.

Our Theatre for Young Audience offerings can scale based on cast size, technical capabilities and available resources. Our young audience productions come with study guide materials that are geared to grade level, and exemplify the goals of The National Standards of Arts Integration curriculums.

Ultimately, we’ve created KG Entertainment so more theatres can make it operationally and financially possible to produce original plays and musicals, especially with larger casts that, in today’s production reality, often break the bank.
